Here's Something That's Weird
David Wain sent me this. Not sure how he found it, but it's a re-creation of a sketch Stella used to do when we tour. I don't know who these guys are, but I'm not sure if I would have cast the guy in the middle as David. I probably would have cast him as me, the guy playing Showalter as Showalter and the guy playing me as David. But they did a great job and they will be hearing from my lawyer.

Well, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. Are those high school kids? How funny. I think they could have done a little more with their facial expressions and a little less flailing around. You guys are really good at expressing emotion with your voices and your pretty faces. Oh well, gives them something to work towards.

Bah, better would be your Halloween night recap. Or the school reunion, did you go? Or something you care about writing about. I don't want to watch strangers pretending they are you.

The guy playing you has really got your posture down pat. (hello)
Its cute though. I wanna rub their lil heads. "Keep going guys! Keep going! Awww. Booduhbooduh."
The theme music just makes me miss the show, though.
And you and Sho are being pimped again on myspace for secret service or something or other. The ads are alternating, but look out - your face is just HUGE when it does come up, Mr. "Drew Barrymore".

That kid playing Showalter was spot on! Funny stuff.

You're lawyer moves fast, I get a message saying the video is no longer available.

Michael, did you intentionally remove the full-text feed from FeedBurner? The rss feed only has snippets now, was this on purpose? I hope not.........

I think it's cute how their little voices crack. Whipper-snappers. So cuuuuuute. I'd like to peench them right on their little kitten noses.

The guy did a great job as playing michael but how can someone fail with such a great character as michael.
Posted by: Severed | November 03, 2008 at 06:40 PM
Ben is right! My Google Reader shows snippets only!
I'll be a...
Ok, ok. Hold on to your horses everybody, just hold on. Deeeeeep breath. Exhale. And...good.
I say we blame a glitch in Google Reader, shall we? Benefit of the No Doubt (featuring Gwen Stefani), yes?
However, should we find out that you, Michael, broke the full text feed on purpose? You'll be forever considered QUITE naughty! Quite naughty indeed!

They could have at least worn suits. Without the suits, this skit makes no sense to me.
Posted by: Susanna | November 03, 2008 at 08:12 PM
I agree with Susanna. Without the suits, I was just lost.

I think David Wain found it on YouTube. To answer your question.
Posted by: Reptar | November 03, 2008 at 10:04 PM
haha! that was cool. I bet you all feel very weird...or very proud...or a mixture of both

Well, I'm not too impressed. They could have shaped the big white box into something more interesting, like a rombus, or made the little red x in the corner a different color.
I hate dial up.

Just an FYI, I just watched the clip again and didn't have any problems with it.

Hrm. Agree with Susanna and Bailey. Need suits.

There's also things like this that confuse me:
http://blog.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=blog.view&friendID=262976922&blogID=435624844
I found it by googling for "Kimberly DiLazzio" It's just a cut and paste of your roller boogie entry by someone not you.

Oops, someone told me it's "rhombus".
My 5 yr old thinks she's sooooo smart.
Posted by: Camille | November 04, 2008 at 02:26 PM
That link Jmez has there - that guy is putting up your blogs on his myspace page as if they are his own. !!! Taking full credit. !!!
Let's kick some ass!
Plus, are you done voting? Can you sit a spell and tell us stories now? We've been waiting patiently (like a bunch of creepy ghost children).

I just noticed that too Reen! Indignation! WTF mate?!
For shame for shame for shame Der Ryan. If you are reading this, you need to be a good boy and cite your sources. I can give you the intricacies of MLA citation if you like or discuss the pitfalls, ethical and practical, of plagiarism. Or just give you this really scalding and judgey dissapproving look. . . . (look) . . . (loooook) . . . (looooook/tsk tsk tsk) . . .
(It just breaks your heart, doesn't it? I've really been working on it). . . .
Shame!!

Holy shit you got a PERSONAL E-MAIL from DAVID WAIN? That dude is mega famous! You should print it out and clip it to your resumé, or maybe just get a t-shirt made of it for convenience. Then start wearing t-shirts in public and there you have it: People Magazine's "Stars Are Just Like Us" page. Guaranteed.
